Yuzvendra Chahal, KL Rahul Spotted At Safdarjung Station In Delhi As PBKS & DC Players Arrive From Dharamsala After BCCI Suspends IPL 2025

Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings (PBKS) players were spotted at Safdarjung station in New Delhi after their IPL 2025 match was stopped midway and the tournament eventually getting suspended by the BCCI. In a video shared by ANI News, KL Rahul of Capitals and Marco Jansen of PBKS were spotted with their luggage along with the remaining contingent.

A floodlight failure caused the stoppage of the match in Dharamsala on Thursday and the match had to eventually be abandoned as there were drone strikes from Pakistan in several cities in India. The escalating border tensions between India and Pakistan prompted the BCCI to suspend the competition for a week.

According to ANI, the players and support staff of both teams along with commentators and production crew of IPL reached Jalandhar from Dharamsala by road, followed by to Delhi via Vande Bharat Express.

"BCCI will definitely complete IPL" - Sourav Ganguly

During a recent interview with The India Today, ex-Indian captain Sourav Ganguly expressed optimism about BCCI completing the tournament. At the same time, Ganguly suggested that a seven-day break was needed, with the country being in the middle of a sensitive situation.

"Even where there were so many problems in 2020 and 2021, the IPL was still completed. The BCCI is so efficient that they will certainly complete the IPL. BCCI will definitely complete IPL. It’s a seven-day break, the tournament will be extended by seven days as well if needed."
