Having begun the pay-per-view first in 1988, the event has given the fans some of the most unforgettable moments over the years and the viewers can expect the same from the current storylines.

The World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is gearing up for arguably the biggest event of the Summer, which is the Summer Slam. Having begun the pay-per-view first in 1988, the event has given the fans some of the most unforgettable moments over the years and the viewers can expect the same from the current storylines.
Summer Slam 2025 will be a two-day event, with the World Heavyweight championship match between CM Punk and Gunther highlighting day one. Tiffany Stratton will put her Women's World Championship on the line, while Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez will also put their tag team championships up for grabs.
Having returned after a three-month hiatus, Roman Reigns will equally be under focus as he teams up with Jey Uso to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
The second day of the event is set to be a blockbuster event as John Cena will put his Undisputed Championship on the line against Cody Rhodes. The steel cage match for the United States Championship will also attract eyeballs, as should Dominik Mysterio's Intercontinental title defence against AJ Styles.
