WPL 2025: Bengaluru Metro Extends Service Hours For Matches To Assist Commuters
With women’s cricket gaining popularity in India, the Bengaluru matches are expected to attract large crowds.

WPL 2025 is moving to Bengaluru after a successful run in Vadodara, with all matches set to take place at Chinnaswamy Stadium. To help fans travel easily, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has announced extended metro services on match days: February 21, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, and March 1, 2025.

Metro trains on the Purple and Green Lines will run later than usual. The last trains from terminal stations Challaghatta, Whitefield, Madavara, and Silk Institute will leave at 11:20 PM, while the final train from Majestic station will depart at 11:55 PM in all directions.
Fans can use QR tickets, Smart Cards, National Common Mobility Cards (NCMC), and tokens for smooth access to the metro during these extended hours.

The home team, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, will kick off their home-leg matches against Mumbai Indians on Friday, February 21.
