With the Indian player offering a handshake after the match, the Pakistani player disrespectfully did it and shrugged it off dismissively as a video of the same surfaced on social media.

The recent terror attack allegedly committed by Pakistan's militant groups in Pahalgam, Kashmir has heightened tensions between the two nations. A three-day standoff also occurred in the border, bringing two nations to a standstill. The incident had also forced the BCCI to suspend IPL 2025 for a week and the PCB applying the same fate to PSL.
Indian track and field athlete Neeraj Chopra had also spoken about his bonding with Pakistan's Arshad Nadeem, claiming that things won't be the same between them after the Pahalgam incident.
