A local cricket match in the town of Guru Har Sahai in Firozpur, Punjab turned tragic after a person collapsed and died moments after striking a six. The video of the incident, which reportedly took place at the DAV School ground, was recorded on a mobile phone and went viral on social media.

According to a report by the Zee, the person who lost his life in the incident goes by the name of Harjit Singh who was a carpenter by profession. In the video, Singh is seen in a white and black T-shirt. After hitting the six, he is seen briefly resting. However, he then collapsed on the ground, reportedly complaining of chest pain.

Fellow players quickly rushed to his aid and attempted CPR, but their efforts were in vain. By the time medical assistance arrived Singh had already passed away. Preliminary reports suggest the cause of death was a sudden cardiac arrest.

The video highlights the lack of immediate medical support at local sports gatherings. The local administration has yet to issue an official statement

Wrestler dies due to heart attack

A smiliar incident of a person dying while playing sports had ahppened coouple of days back. wrestler died after falling unconscious during the wrestling bout. The incident happened during the annual Dangal competition which was held in Dinga Amb area of ​​​​Kathua district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Wrestler by the name of Sonu fell unconscious during the fight. When people went to lift him, they were shocked when the wrestler did not move from his place. Eyewitnesses said that no one could believe that someone could die like this.
