Sportvot x FPJ: Bayside Sports School Dad's Football Championship Ends In Thrilling Finals

The final day of the Bayside Sports School Dad's Football Championship, held on 29th July 2025 at the St. Stanislaus Sports Complex, Bandra, witnessed thrilling clashes across both the Platinum and Gold divisions, as 12 teams battled it out on two turfs in front of an electrified crowd.

In the Platinum semi-finals, Scottish Strikers FC delivered a dominant 3-0 victory over Don Bosco International, with a commanding four shots on target and superior attacking presence. The second semi-final was a tighter contest, where AVM FC edged past Scottish Rangers 2-1 despite having fewer corners and shots, thanks to their sharp finishing. The Platinum final saw JNS 49ers clinch the title with a hard-fought 2-1 win against Scottish Strikers FC, showing resilience despite the Strikers creating more chances and corners.

The Gold division was equally competitive. JNS 49ers booked their spot in the final by narrowly defeating OIS Kingsmen 2-1 in the first semi-final, while Petit Panthers overpowered NIS Lakers 4-2 in the other. The Gold final turned into a high-scoring thriller as AVM FC edged out Petit Panthers 5-4, in a match filled with equal chances but decided by clinical finishing.

The championship concluded with JNS 49ers lifting the Platinum title and AVM FC securing the Gold crown, marking the end of an intense and action-packed tournament that celebrated skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
