The 1st Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, organized by the Airoli Sports Association, kicked off with exciting matchups from 6th to 10th July at Airoli, Navi Mumbai. The tournament witnessed intense rallies, remarkable comebacks, and top-tier talent on display.
In Match 1, Ananya edged past Shruti in a gripping four-set battle, winning 11–5, 8–11, 11–8, 13–11 to claim victory. Match 2 saw a dominant performance from Kushal as he swept past Deepit with a solid 11–2 win.
Match 3 featured a strong showing by Hardee, who outplayed Riana with a 11–6 finish. The most dramatic contest unfolded in Match 4, where Anish and Kushal engaged in a seven-set thriller. Despite Kushal’s spirited resistance, Anish held his nerve to secure a memorable 4–3 win with set scores 11–6, 7–11, 11–6, 7–11, 5–11, 11–4, 11–5.
