Team India keeper-batter Rishabh Pant might after all be able to stand behind the stumps instead of playing only as a specialist batter in the fourth Test against England in Manchester. In a video surfaced on social media, Pant was seen wearing the keeping gloves during a fielding drill at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

The 27-year-old didn't keep wickets for the majority of the 3rd Test at the Lord's Cricket Ground after copping a blow to his finger on day one. The southpaw batted with visible discomfort in both innings but it was Dhruv Jurel, who had to keep wickets. There have been reports floating around that Pant will play only as a specialist batter at the Old Trafford in Manchester.
