Chasing a challenging 283 for victory, Afghanistan rode on superb knocks from Ibrahim Zadran (87), Rahmanullah Gurbaz (65), Rahmat Shah (77*) and captain Hasmatullah Shahidi (48*) to gun down the target with an over to spare.
Afghan spinner had earlier restricted Pakistan to 282 for 7 in 50 overs after half-centuries from Babar Azam (77) and Abdullah Shafique (58).

Pak players eat 8kg mutton every day
Akram meanwhile, also criticised the fitness levels of Pakistani players by alleging that they eat nearly 8 kilos of 'kadhai' and 'nihari' (mutton dishes) every day which is why they are so unfit.
Pakistan's poor fielding and lacklustre bowling were few of the main reasons behind their defeat as the players could not back stop the Afghan batters from crossing the finish line first.
"Wet pitch or no, look at the fielding, the fitness levels. We've been screaming for the last 3 weeks that these players haven't undergone a fitness test in the last two years.
"If I start taking individual names, their faces will drop. Looks like these guys are eating 8 kilos of mutton everyday. Should there not be tests
"Professionally you guys are getting paid, playing for your country. There has to be a certain criteria. Misbah, when he was coach, had that criteria. Players hated him but it worked," Akram said on the same TV show in Pakistan.
