Afghanistan captain Rahmanullah Gurbaz was thrilled to gift in the form of a bat from Babar Azam.

Afghanistan opening batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz expressed his pride at receiving a bat from Pakistan skipper Babar Azam following the 2023 World Cup clash in Chennai. The 21-year-old took to his official Instagram account and posted a picture of himself with Babar along with a clip, stating that the spirit of cricket is still intact.

Gurbaz, who has had a stellar tournament thus far, struck an important half-century in Afghanistan's eight-wicket victory over Pakistan in Chennai. The 21-year-old, along with Ibrahim Zadran, set the tone for the memorable victory by stitching a partnership of 130. It was also their 4th century-stand this year, equaling Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill.
In a post shared by Gurbaz on Instagram, he wrote the below:
