Mohammed Shami mysteriously left out of Test squad for England tour

On the cricketing side of things, Shami could be approaching the end of his Test career after being left out of the England tour as chief selector cited fitness issues behind his snub. With the likes of Prasidh Krishna and Akash Deep knocking down the doors, the 34-year-old could be overlooked even for the future Test series too.

Nevertheless, Shami could still be in the mix for ODIs at least for the next two years.
