Christophany secured his sixth career victory in style, maintaining his position on the leader board with a commanding win in The Mulraj Goculdas Trophy, the feature race on the 13th day of the Mumbai racing season at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse on Sunday.
In a compact field of just four runners, It’s My Time set the early pace, dictating the tempo from the front and holding the lead as the field rounded the final turn. However, Christophany, displaying exceptional finishing speed, made his move in the final 100 meters, surging past the frontrunner with a powerful stride. He maintained his momentum to cross the winning post ahead of It’s My Time, who had to settle for second place in this competitive seven-furlong contest.
With this victory, Christophany reaffirmed his class and consistency, further solidifying his reputation in the Mumbai racing circuit.
