MSSA Football: Campion 'A'outclasses D.G. Khetan 6-0

Campion School 'A', Cooperage outclassed D.G. Khetan, Malad 6-0 in the Boys Under-16 Division II Group A clash of the MSSA Inter-School Football Tournament at Wings Sports Centre, Bandra on Thursday. Abner Rodrigues and Jagveer Bhatia scored a brace while Aurev Carvallo, Saatvik Arora netted a goal each to inflict misery on the rival team.

In the same group, St. Lawrence, Borivali thrashed CNM School, Vile Parle 4-0. Aman Hatagale, Devansh Shewale, Pratik Sharma and Vishal Dangi scored for the St. Lawrence school in convincing win.

In Group B clashes, Don Bosco 'B', Matunga beat Lilavatibai Podar, Santacruz 2-1 while St. Anthony, Malwani and St. Joseph 'A' Wadala played a 1-1 draw. Thakur Public School, Kandivali also drew with St. Francis D'Assisi 'A', Borivali 1-1 in group C clash. SVKM Vile Parle drew 1-1 with Dr. Anthonio D'Silva Dadar in another match of the same group.

Meanwhile, in the Girls U-16 Division I match, Jamnabai Narsee Juhu defeated Cathedral and John Connon 2-0. Alysa Vora scored the opening goal while skipper Nehchal Bright made it 2-0 to seal the affair.
