Member of Parliament Priya Saroj was seen shedding tears of joy on stage after exchanging rings with Tem India cricketer Rinku SIngh in Lucknow on Sunday, June 8. The couple got engaged at the luxurious Centrum Hotel in Lucknow. with guests from cricket and political circle giving their blessings to the new couple.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav, Jaya Bachchan, MP Ram Gopal Yadav, BCCI Vice-President and Congress MP Rajeev Shukla were presen. While Rinku Singh looked stunning in classic sherwani, Priya wore pink lehenga for the ring exchange ceremony in Lucknow.
The couple who first met each other via mutual friend had a pre engagement photo shoot, the pictures of which went viral on social media. Before the marraige, Rinku Singh along with his family, visited the Chaudhera Wali Vichitra Devi Temple in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, to seek blessings.

Who is Priya Saroj?
Priya Saroj made history last year by winning the Lok Sabha seat from Machhlishahr at just 25 years old. Her political journey began during the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections when she gained attention while actively campaigning for her father. Before stepping into politics, Priya was a practicing lawyer in the Supreme Court. She holds an arts degree from Delhi University and later earned her law degree from Amity University in Noida.
