Pakistan and San Francisco Unicorns pacer Haris Rauf displayed a fiery reaction towards MI New York batter Tajinder Singh in the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025 match on Monday at the Oakland Coliseum Stadium in Oakland. However, the right-arm speedster was seen walking back with a smile on his face after trying to throw the ball at the striker's end.
The incident occurred in the 15th over of the innings as the Pakistan cricketer bowled an in-swinger and Tajinder tried to whip the ball onto the on-side. With the right-hander seemingly getting an inside edge before the ball hit on the pad, Rauf half-appealed before turning around trying to affect a run-out at the striker's end.

Rauf, meanwhile, was outstanding with the ball, picking up figures of 4-0-24-2 to restrict MI New York to 182/7 in 20 overs. Although the Unicorns had slumped to 42/4 in 5.6 overs and 108/6 in 12.2 overs, Bartlett played a whirlwind knock of 25-ball 59* to drive their side to a three-wicket victory in 19.1 overs.
Hassan Khan had also blasted a 17-ball 43, laced with two fours and five maximums. Although Naveen-ul-Haq and Ehsan Adil took two wickets each, they couldn't prevent MI New York from losing the match.
