KL Rahul turned 33 on Friday, April 18, as he continues to shine with the bat in the ongoing IPL 2025. Currently representing Delhi Capitals for the first time, Rahul is making his presence felt with consistent performances.
To mark his birthday, Delhi Capitals posted a heartfelt tribute on the social media platform X, sharing a montage of Rahul's cricketing journey. The caption read: "Journey of a lil boy who became the KL we love," celebrating the growth of the stylish right-hander over the years

Rahul has long been a pillar of strength in India’s cricketing setup, particularly in the ODI format. He played a vital role during the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, where he tallied 452 runs with an average of 75.33. His contributions included a century and two fifties, and he also set a new Indian record for most wicketkeeping dismissals (17) in a single World Cup edition, overtaking the legendary Rahul Dravid.
