The Karnataka government rolled out a grand civic reception for IPL 2025 champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as the team was officially felicitated by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at the majestic Vidhana Soudha on Wednesday.

The iconic building, seat of the Karnataka legislature, became a stage for cricketing glory as the RCB squad, led by captain Rajat Patidar and guided by talismanic batter Virat Kohli, were honored for bringing home the IPL trophy for the first time in the franchise’s 18-year history.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by key members of the Karnataka cabinet and thousands of jubilant fans who gathered outside Vidhana Soudha. CM Siddaramaiah praised the team’s resilience, calling their IPL win a moment of pride not just for Bengaluru but for the entire state.
