In a thrilling IPL 2025 match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, an unfortunate incident occurred when CSK players Matheesha Pathirana and Ravindra Jadeja collided while attempting to take a catch.

The collision happened in the 4th over of the match when Jadeja was fielding at short third-man and Pathirana was fielding at deep backward point. Both players were going for the catch of RCB's Jacob Bethell, but unfortunately, they ended up colliding with each other.
