With captain Shubman Gill leading from the front by belting a record-breaking 269, the tourists have amassed 587 by keeping England on the field for a staggering 151 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal (87) and Ravindra Jadeja (89) also chipped in with crucial half-centuries as Team India ran riot with the bat.

With Jasprit Bumrah absent from India's attack, Akash Deep, who replaced him took over the mantle and struck twice in his second over. He got the better of Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope in back-to-back deliveries for ducks.
