'Guiding Light Of All Of Our Lives': Virat Kohli Pens Heartfelt Note To Wish His Wife Anushka Sharma Happy Birthday

Team India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) batting star Virat Kohli posted an endearing caption for his wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma on her birthday, with the latter turning 37. The right-handed batter called Anushka the guiding light of his life by posting a picture of them on Instagram.

Kohli and Anushka tied the knot on December 23, 2017, with the latter gracing her presence consistently at venues when the Indian star plays, including during the 2023 World Cup final. The couple have a daughter named Vamika and a son named Akaay.

Taking to Instagram, Kohli wrote:

"To my best friend, my life partner, my safe space, my best half , my everything. You’re the guiding light of all of our lives. We love you so much more everyday. Happy birthday my love."

Meanwhile, the 36-year-old is currently the second-highest run-getter in IPL 2025, having accumulated 443 runs in ten innings at 63.28 with six half-centuries. Having become the nucleus of RCB's batting unit in the last decade, Kohli has performed his role to perfection this year as his performance has given the franchise a massive hope of ending their title drought.

RCB are currently at the top of the points table with seven victories in ten matches and have won all their away games thus far. Bengaluru will next face the Chennai Super Kings on May 3, Saturday at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
