Gabon footballer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has signed a contract with French club Olympique Marseille ahead of the upcoming season. It will be a return for the 36-year-old footballer as he had donned the Olympique Marseille's jersey from 2023 to 2024, making 34 appearances and hitting 17 goals.

Aubameyang will leave Saudi Arabia's club Al Qadsia, who he represented as a free agent. He plied his trade for the Saudi Arabia club on 32 occasions and netted 17 goals in those appearances. According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, the 36-year-old is all set to sign a two-year contract with Marseille, who finished second in Ligue 1 last season and will feature in the Champions League group stage next season.

Aubameyang has previously played for Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal. As part of Dortmund, he had won the German Cup title and lifted the FA Cup with Arsenal.

Manchester United reaches agreement to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford

Meanwhile, Cameron national football team's mid-fielder Bryan Mbeumo is all set to ply his trade for Manchester United moving forward. The decorated English football club had previously submitted a bid of £55m along with £7.5m add-ons.

However, Mbeumo's transfer to United was agreed by Brentford after the former submitted an upgraded bid of £65m plus £6m in add-ons. Hence, the new offer has reportedly been accepted by Manchester United.
