Aur dil mein bahut shukun mila...bahut hi proud feel huwa." His mother echoed the emotion, saying, "Bahut achcha laga tumhari batting dekhkar. Keep going, God bless you."

Moved by the heartfelt words, Gill responded, "This message means a lot to me. Growing up, I played almost all my cricket for my dad. He and my best friend are the only two people I listen to when it comes to cricket. But yes... it also reminded me that I missed my triple hundred!"

He added, "Once I’m done with my routine, that’s when I check my phone before bed - mainly to speak to my family and close friends."
