Mumbai: Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf surprisingly had a good match against India in the Super 4 match of Asia Cup 2025. While bowlers of his team were getting belted by Indian batsmen, the speedster managed to pick 2 wickets and conceded 26 runs in his quota of four overs. However, his efforts weren't just enough as India crushed them by 6 wickets. Rauf took more efforts to mimic a crashing plane on the boundary ropes, sparking outrage online. His needless antics followed by thunderous “Kohli” chants from Indian fans, recalling Virat Kohli’s iconic two sixes against Rauf in the 2022 T20 World Cup.

To boost his dwindling morale after yet another humiliating loss again to India, Haris Rauf's wife Muzna Masood Malik, a supposed model by profession, shared photos of her husband doing the “6-0” gesture on the boundary line. In her imbecility, she wrote, “Lost the match but won the battle.”

As Harif Rauf and his wife were getting lambasted by Indian fans on social media, a tweet went viral from a fringe account on X claiming she suffered an accident in Pakistan's capital Islamabad.

Following the tweet that went viral, netizens demanded X's AI chatbot Grok to confirm the news about her death as nothing from Pakistan emanated to verify the seemingly false claim.

No Pakistani media reported about such an incident taking place. Grok in it's response also denied such a claim.

Haris Rauf's wife makes a controversial post

Following the defeat at the hands of India, Haris Rauf's wife wife Muzna Masood Malik took to social media to post a picture of her husband making the '6-0' gesture on her Instagram story. The caption along with the picture read - "Lost the match but won the battle."

Earlier during the match, the desperate controversial pacer Haris Rauf clashed with Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma. Verbal exchanges began in the fifth over between Abhishek and Rauf. Gill joined in after hitting a boundary. Umpires had to intervene to cool tempers.

After the match, Abhishek shed light on the incident. the Indian opener stated, “They (the bowlers) were coming out to us without any reason. I did not like it at all. That’s why I went after them,”
