In the ongoing Champions Trophy match between England and Afghanistan, pacer Jofra Archer reached a major milestone, becoming the fastest England bowler to take 50 ODI wickets.
He achieved this feat in just 30 matches, surpassing James Anderson, who took 31 games to reach the mark. Archer’s milestone wicket came when he dismissed Sediqaullah Atal, which was his second wicket of the match. He ended his first spell with impressive figures of 3/22 in six overs.

As of now, Afghanistan is at 236/5 after 43 overs, with Ibrahim Zadran unbeaten on 122 and Mohammad Nabi on 10. For England, Jofra Archer has been the standout bowler with three wickets, while Jamie Overton and Adil Rashid have taken one each.
