Lucknow Super Giants' (LSG) keeper-batter Nicholas Pooran won the hearts of the fans by displaying a brilliant gesture towards one of them, who was struck by one of his sixes during the game against the Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Stadium. With the Super Giants preparing for their game against the Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, Pooran met the fan, who said he wants LSG to keep winning no matter what.

Amid Pooran's match-winning knock of 34-ball 61 against the Titans, one of the West Indian batter's seven sixes struck a fan on his head. Despite the fan getting badly hurt and having his wound dressed, he was keen to watch the game.

In a video shared by Lucknow Super Giants' official social media handle, Pooran asked the fan:

'All is well?'

When asked how he felt about the gesture, the fan named Nabeel said:

"Badhiya. Pooran sir ne call karwaayi thi. Main aaya, main mila, mulaqaat hui. Poocha, sab khairiyat? Sab theek? Kal main aa raha hoon dekhne. Chakka lag jaaye, sar phoot jaaye, koi dikkat nahin hai. Lekin apni Lucknow ki team jeetti rehni chahiye. Us din hamaari team jeeti thi, yeh baat ki khushi hai. Apni yeh team, trophy ki dream."

(Feels amazing. Pooran sir had me called. I came and I met him. He asked me how am I doing. I'm coming to see the match tomorrow. Let anything happen, even if I get hurt, Lucknow team should keep winning. That day our team won and I was glad about it.)

Nicholas Pooran dazzled earlier in the season against the Delhi Capitals

Meanwhile, Pooran had dazzled earlier in the season against the Delhi Capitals in Vishakhapatnam as he made a 30-ball 75 to propel the Super Giants to 209/8 in 20 overs.

However, Ashutosh Sharma's unbeaten 66 off 31 deliveries helped the Capitals pull off a heist with one wicket to spare. The left-handed batter is still the second-highest run-getter in IPL 2025 with 368 runs.
