Pakistan fans have revealed Team India spinner Kuldeep Yadav's response to their request of bowling some easy balls to the batters to let them score in the recent Champions Trophy 2025 clash. In a video shared on social media, a Pakistani fan revealed that Kuldeep told them to tell Pakistan batters to play with some freedom.
Although Pakistan made a decent start to their innings as they opted to bat after winning an important toss, they lost the momentum massively in the middle overs as Kuldeep, Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel squeezed it out of them. The left-arm wrist-spinner also finished as the pick of the Indian bowlers with figures of 9-0-40-3, dismissing Salman Ali Agha, Naseem Shah and Shaheen Afridi.
In the below video, a bunch of fans revealed that they requested Kuldeep to bowl some easy balls to Pakistani batters, but the Kanpur-born cricketer suggested to tell the players to play with some freedom.
"He has some miracle in his hands" - Ravichandran Ashwin on Kuldeep Yadav
Reflecting on Kuldeep's performance against Pakistan, retired Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin praised him for making an outstanding comeback after recovering recently from an injury. He said on his YouTube channel:
People should understand that a spinner is making a comeback after an injury. Sometimes in our country, we don’t give so much time to the bowlers. If the batsman fails after a comeback, we tell that he has just come after an injury. If you think it happens with Virat and he plays 2-3 games, then what do they say? Everyone will say the king will be back. Kuldeep Yadav is also like that. He has some miracle in his hands. He does the job. He showed the world today."
