Rajasthan Royals' newest batting sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Lucknow Super Giants' batter Arshin Kulkarni engaged in a banter at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium following the IPL 2025 match on April 19, Saturday. In a video shared by the Royals' handle on social media, Arshin was seen poking fun at the youngster by saying, '14 saal ka ladka humko paagal bana raha hai.'

14-year-old Suryavanshi, who became the youngest player to make his IPL debut, stunned the cricketing fraternity with his stroke play as he hammered 34 off only 20 balls. The left-hander notably hammered a six off the very first ball he faced and was eventually dismissed by Aiden Markram.

Watch the video below as Arshin hilariously demanded that he wanted Suryavanshi's bat but the latter kept insisting that he doesn't have a willow play with.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi's exploits go in vain as Rajasthan Royals lose another close contest

Suryavanshi, who had opened with Yashasvi Jaiswal, got off the team to a strong start by stitching a 85-run stand in 8.4 overs in pursuit of 180. However, the Royals still fell two runs short in the end as Avesh Khan bowled a brilliant final over to defend nine runs. At the post-match presentation, Riyan Parag said:

"I don't know what we did wrong. I felt we were in the game probably till the 18th over and 19th over, actually. But yeah, I don't know. I blame myself for this. I probably should have finished it in the 19th over. But then, I don't know if that was a bad decision for myself. I mean, we [have] just got to put one game together collectively for 40 overs. Only then can we expect a win."
