In good news for flyers at Pune Airport, the authorities have come up with a new baggage handling system. This system, being implemented by the airport authorities and the airlines' staff, aims to ensure that flyers' luggage arrives at the baggage carousel safely and without any wear and tear.

A video of this has gone viral on social media and is receiving praise. As seen in the video, as soon as bags came onto the carousel, an official used a rectangular shock absorber made of foam to block those from hitting the edges with force. Another official arranged the luggage properly so that flyers could easily pick it up without dashing against each other.
