VIDEO: PMPML Driver Makes Car Driver Reverse All the Way To end Of Road After He Blocks Path By Entering Wrong Side At Signal In Pune

While the news of traffic violations, accidents, road rage incidents, and traffic congestion from Pune often go viral, it was the day of a Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) bus driver who taught a lesson to a negligent car driver who came from the wrong side at the signal.

The video of the incident has gone quite viral on social media, earning the PMPML driver the praise he deserves.

In the video, one can see a car entering from the wrong side, which led to a traffic snarl as it blocked the route of the PMPML bus.

As per the report by Pune Mirror, the PMPML driver has been identified as Balu Gaikwad. He works at the Bhekarainagar depot of PMPML.

Traffic was disrupted when a car entered the incorrect side of the light, preventing a PMPML bus from turning. However, with the fast thinking and tenacity of the experienced Gaikwad, the car driver was forced to reverse the vehicle, allowing the bus to pass.

In a similar incident earlier, a PMPML driver refused to yield, compelling the car driver to reverse and clear the lane of the BRT.

Meanwhile, the Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd (PMPML) mobile app, Apli PMPML, has received an overwhelming response from passengers. In just five months since its launch, 1.17 crore passengers have used the app, resulting in the sale of 69.42 lakh tickets and 24.23 lakh passes.  Accordingly, a total revenue of Rs20.85 crore has been generated through the app.
