Pune Weather Update: Relief From Winter As Minimum Temperature Soars By Over 7°C In Just Two Days | Anand Chaini
In a relief for Punekars from the winter chill, the minimum temperature soared by over 7 degrees Celsius on Monday within just two days. On Saturday, the minimum temperature in Pune's Shivajinagar was recorded at 9.7°C, rising to 13.4°C on Sunday, and further to 17.4°C on Monday, according to data shared on X (formerly Twitter) by KS Hosalikar, head of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Pune.
This temperature rise is attributed to Cyclone Fengal, which made landfall near Puducherry on Saturday and weakened on Sunday.
