After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army gave a befitting reply to the terrorists. The Indian Army destroyed the training centre of the terrorists and disgraced Pakistan. To pay tribute to the Indian Army soldiers who died in this operation and to boost the morale of the Indian Army, the Nashik City Congress Committee organised a Tiranga Rally on Monday.

"The Indian Army has done a very proud job by repelling the terrorist attack and defeating the terrorists. Hence, this rally was organised to pay tribute to them and to honour the Indian citizens who died in the terrorist attack. The main opposition party, Congress, stands firmly behind the Indian government in such a situation. The work done by the Indian Army to end terrorism in the world is a great example," said Nashik City Congress Committee President Akash Chhajed.
Led by Nashik City Congress Committee President Akash Chhajed and in the presence of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Secretary Corporator Rahul Dive, Senior Corporator Vatsalatai Khaire, Senior Leader Ulhas Satbhai, Former House Leader Rajendra Bagul, City Seva Dal President Vasant Thakur, City Youth Congress President Swapnil Patil, Nashik District NSUI President Altamash Sheikh, the Tiranga Rally started at 11am from Congress Bhavan.

During the Tiranga Rally, Congress office bearers were seen holding placards with slogans like "Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon Zara Yaad Karo Qurbani", "Bharat Mata Ki Jai", "Victory of the Indian Army", "Death to Pakistan", "Jai Hind" and "Hindustan Zindabad". In particular, the placards with the photos of the Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Army became the centre of attraction. Such slogans echoed throughout the area.
A wreath was laid at the Hutatma Memorial, and tributes were paid to the deceased soldiers and civilians.
