Considering the upcoming Shravan month and Kumbh Mela, lakhs of devotees are expected to visit Grishneshwar temple in Ellora. The district administration is all prepared to provide better facilities to the devotees coming from various parts of the country. The Grishneshwar Mandir Sansthan and all the concerned government departments should plan accordingly, directed District Collector Dilip Swami. He was addressing a review meeting at Grishneshwar temple on Wednesday. SP Vinaykumar Rathod, Sub-Divisional Officer Santosh Gorad, Deputy CEO Chandrahar Dhokane, Tehsildar Swarup Kankal, District Health Officer Dr. Abhay Dhanorkar, Tourism Assistant Director Vijay Jadhav, and other officers of electricity, transport, and other departments were present.
Swami directed that proper care should be taken of cleanliness, health facilities, drinking water, medical assistance, toilets, transport, and safety. A control cell should be established in the temple premises, from where the devotees can be provided emergency health assistance and guidance. Special facilities should be provided to the disabled, children, women, and senior citizens.

The administration, with the help of volunteers, should plan so that the devotees get Darshan in the temple safely and easily, he directed.
The Food and Drug Administration should check that the edible articles being sold in the temple premises and surrounding areas are clean and healthy. Strict action should be taken against the hawkers selling unclean and unhealthy food articles. The administration should be cautious that health issues do not arise due to food articles like Bhagar used during the fasts of the devotees.
The devotees will be allowed to offer Belpatra and white flowers on the Pindi in the Gabhara. Hence, no other leaves or flowers should be brought into the temple, the temple trustees appealed to the devotees. They should cooperate with the temple administration and take Darshan in a disciplined manner, Swami mentioned.
