Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: AC E-Bus Service Launched; No Extra Fare, More Routes Coming Soon |
The Smart City Bus Transport Department in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar launched the air-conditioned e-bus service for city passengers on Maharashtra Day, May 1. District Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsat inaugurated the service during the Maharashtra Day function held at Deogiri Ground at the police commissionerate on Thursday.
The new e-buses are equipped with the latest facilities, offering comfort and environmental friendliness. Additionally, the fare for these buses will be the same as the existing buses, so passengers will not have to bear any additional financial burden while traveling on the new e-buses, according to bus depot sources.

The service will operate from Central Bus Stand on the Ellora route between 6 am and 7 pm. Buses will be available every three hours on this route.
Similarly, 35 more e-buses will be added to the service and will operate on various routes in the city starting in August 2025, the sources added.
