Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: ₹19 Lakh Worth Of Gold Melted And Sold After Daring Dacoity At Industrialist Santosh Laddha’s Home |

The links of the dacoity on the house of industrialist Santosh Laddha in Bajajnagar have reached to the gold man in Nanded. The sources informed that they melted around 20 tolas of gold and sold it in Nanded’s gold market. Meanwhile, a country-made pistol was seized from the house of accused Yogesh Hajbe.

The accused used this pistol to threaten caretaker Sanjay Zalke while conducting the dacoity. Amol Khotkar’s pistol was already seized by the police on the day when he was killed in the police encounter.

The crime branch squads launched search operations in Ambajogai and Nanded for the past two days. Khotkar had given the stolen gold to a man from Ambajogai, of which 20 tolas of gold were sold in the gold market in Nanded for Rs 19 lakh. The remaining gold was distributed at various places including some outside the state. The police are trying to recover the remaining gold.

Meanwhile, industrialist Laddha has given the receipts of the gold and silver to the police on Tuesday. The police are verifying the receipts and estimating exactly how much quantity of gold and silver was stolen.
