To ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid inconvenience to the public, the Pune City Police have implemented temporary traffic changes. Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Sandeep Bhajibhakare has issued orders for diversions between 6:00 AM and 11:30 AM on the day.

Muslims across the state including Pune will celebrate Bakrid (Eid-ul-Adha) on June 7 with great devotion. In Pune, a large congregation for Eid prayers (Namaz) will be held at the Eidgah ground in the Golibar Maidan area.
To ensure smooth traffic flow and avoid inconvenience to the public, the Pune City Police have implemented temporary traffic changes. Deputy Commissioner of Police Dr. Sandeep Bhajibhakare has issued orders for diversions between 6:00 AM and 11:30 AM on the day.
Road Closures and Alternative Routes:
1. Bhairobanala to Golibar Maidan Road – Closed from 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Alternate Routes:
Heavy vehicles towards Swargate: Use Prince of Wales Road → Lullanagar Chowk
Light vehicles towards Pune Station: Use Empress Garden Road
2. Mammadewi Chowk to Golibar Maidan
Alternate Route:
Via Bishop School Road / Command Hospital Road → Napier Road → CDO Chowk
3. CDO Chowk to Golibar Chowk – Closed from 6:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Alternate Routes:
Vehicles from Lullanagar: Turn left at CDO Chowk
From Khatav Bungalow Chowk: Turn right → Napier Road
4. Seven Loves Chowk to Golibar Maidan
Alternate Route:
Via Salisbury Park → CDO Chowk → Bhairobanala
5. Old Solapur Bazar Chowki to Golibar Chowk
Alternate Route:
Khane Maruti Chowk → Pulgate Depot → Solapur Bazar Chowk → Napier Road → Khatav Bungalow Chowk / Mammadewi Chowk
6. Heavy Vehicles from Lullanagar Chowk to Golibar – Entry Restricted
(Including ST buses, PMPML, and goods transport vehicles)
Alternate Routes:
Lullanagar Chowk → Bhairobanala Chowk or Gangadham Chowk
The police have requested citizens and motorists to follow the traffic arrangements and cooperate with the authorities to ensure a peaceful and smooth celebration.
