Western Railway Launches 'Employee Connect Drive' For Staff Welfare
According to Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, the drive aims to promote employee well-being, timely grievance redressal and awareness of various welfare schemes. Special emphasis has been laid on reaching out to field staff such as Trackmen/Gangmen, who are continuously on duty and often unable to voice their concerns in a timely manner.

Western Railway has always been in the forefront in the welfare & well-being of its employees. Moving ahead in this direction, under the aegis and able guidance of Shri Vivek Kumar Gupta, General Manager of Western Railway, a novel initiative “Employee Connect Drive” has been launched across all six divisions of WR. To mark the launch of this campaign, GM Vivek Kumar Gupta, Shri Pradeep Kumar, Additional General Manager of WR, Manjula Saxena, Principal Chief Personnel Officer and other senior officials of Western Railway released “Employee Connect Drive” poster on 24th July, 2025. These posters available in four languages, viz. Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati & English have been displayed across the divisions of WR in order to ensure inclusivity and effective communications with employees.
