About Mumbai Metro Line 3:

Metro Line 3, also known as the Aqua Line, is a 33.5-kilometre underground corridor connecting Colaba in South Mumbai to SEEPZ in the north, with a total of 27 stations. The operational Phase 2A covers a 9.77 km stretch featuring key stations like Dadar, Siddhivinayak, Dharavi, Sitaladevi, Worli, and Acharya Atre.

A major highlight of this phase is the engineering feat of constructing a tunnel beneath the Mithi River between Dharavi and BKC. This new development is expected to ease traffic congestion and offer a faster, more efficient commuting option across Mumbai.
