MNS Assaults Restaurant Owner For Not Speaking Marathi

A restaurant owner in Mira Road, Mumbai, was assaulted by Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers for not speaking Marathi. The confrontation began with MNS questioning the owner about his use of language. The owner humorously responded that he didn't know Marathi was mandatory, which angered the workers.

The situation escalated when the owner stated that all languages are spoken in Maharashtra, prompting one worker to slap him multiple times in public. The incident has sparked outrage on social media, raising debates about language preservation versus violence. Police are investigating the matter, but no official complaint has been filed yet.
