According to the police, two of the girls were shifted to Nair Hospital, where they were declared dead during treatment, while the third was referred to a hospital in Ghoti Taluka of Nashik, where she too was pronounced dead during treatment. The Shahapur police have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) so far.

Police officials said Sandeep Bhere lives with his wife Sandhya and their three daughters in Cherpoli village in Shahapur. However, Sandhya had been residing at her maternal home in Asnoli with the children for the past eight months.

The three girls reportedly began experiencing abdominal pain and vomiting on July 21. Following the health scare, they were rushed to the primary health center in Shahapur. The attending doctor referred two of them to Nair Hospital and the third to Nashik Hospital for further treatment.

Deputy SP Milind Shidne from Shahapur Division confirmed the incident. He told The Free Press Journal that the Kinhvali police have filed an ADR, and further investigation is underway.
