Thane News: Bhiwandi Police Arrest 10 Illegal Bangladeshi Nationals In Crackdown On Undocumented Migrants
The Bhiwandi police began to swoop down on the Bangladeshi nationals in the Bhiwandi, arresting a total of ten Bangladeshi nationals including women within five days who had allegedly been residing in these different areas without valid visas and documentation for many years.

Thane: The Bhiwandi police began to swoop down on the Bangladeshi nationals in the Bhiwandi, arresting a total of ten Bangladeshi nationals including women within five days who had allegedly been residing in these different areas without valid visas and documentation for many years.
The police said that they received information that some Bangladeshi nationals were residing in the jurisdiction of Narpoli Police Station, Bhiwandi Police Station, and Kongaon Police Station. Based on suspicion, they checked for the verification of their Aadhaar card, PAN card, and other relevant documents.
During the inquiry, ten individuals were found suspicious who resided here without valid visas and documentation. An FIR has been registered against them under the provisions of the Foreign Nationals Act and the Indian Passport Act, the police confirmed.
"Investigations revealed that they had fled Bangladesh due to poverty and unemployment in their home country", said an officials.
The police also confirmed that they did not possess valid documents or permission to work and live here. In recent years, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, and Thane have witnessed a notable increase in illegal Bangladeshi migrants. In order to take action, the police have launched a special campaign to identify them, apprehend such individuals, and produce them in court.
