Mumbai: The special task force of the Railway Crime Branch have solved a long-pending case of thefts on long-distance trains and arrested a 25-year-old man who had passed the NEET test for medical studies and also passed the first-year examination of BHM (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery).
The accused, Tufail Raza Akhtar Memon, stole to feed his addiction to online games. He stole at night when the passengers fell asleep. Cases have been registered against him at the Nashik Road City and Chandan Nagar police station.
Several criminal cases have been recorded against him – six in Bellary, six at Karnataka railway stations, and 21 in different jurisdictions. Investigation into the other cases is underway
