Raigad District-Level Bhajan Competition In Panvel On August 23-24; ₹51,000 Top Prize

The Shri Ramsheth Thakur Social Development Board will host a Raigad district-level bhajan competition.
The competition is to be held on August 23 and 24 in Panvel.
The event is aimed at promoting the bhajan tradition and is informed to take place at the Board’s hall in the city’s Market Yard.
The organisors informed that the competition will be conducted under categories of Men and women group respectively. The last date for entries is August 15. " The competition is being conducted as part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrations marking the 75th year of former MP Ramsheth Thakur and the ultimate goal is to promote the art of group. Recitation," said an organisor.

Prizes include Rs 51,000 for the best bhajan mandal, Rs 25,000 for second place, Rs 15,000 for third, and Rs 7,000 as a consolation award. The best pakhawaj and tabla players will also receive Rs 7,000 each. Winners will be felicitated with mementos by dignitaries.
Organisers have urged all bhajan mandals in Raigad to participate, and have provided multiple contact numbers for registration and details.
