Panvel Firefighter Shubhangi Ghule Wins Silver At World Police And Fire Games In USA
Ghule secured the silver in the Fire Stair Race – Team Category. Just a week earlier, she had brought laurels to the country by clinching a bronze medal in the Ultimate Firefighting Challenge at the same event.

Shubhangi Santosh Ghule, a firefighter with the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC), has won a silver medal at the 21st World Police and Fire Games 2025 held in Alabama, USA.
Ghule secured the silver in the Fire Stair Race – Team Category. Just a week earlier, she had brought laurels to the country by clinching a bronze medal in the Ultimate Firefighting Challenge at the same event.
Representing India on the global stage, Ghule also placed fourth in the Firefighting Challenge (individual category) and fifth in the individual Fire Stair Race. The prestigious competition saw participation from over 50 countries, with events designed to test physical endurance, precision, and firefighting expertise.
