Palghar, Maharashtra: A 46-year-old Ola driver tragically died by suicide on Wednesday after consuming poison in the Nalasopara area, under the jurisdiction of the Pelhar Police Station. On Thursday, his distraught family members and fellow Ola drivers staged a vigorous protest outside the hospital, accusing Ola company's arbitrary policies of driving him to this extreme step.
The deceased, identified as Sanoj Saxena (46), resided in Bilalpada, Nalasopara East, with his wife, son, and two daughters. He was employed as a driver with Ola.
