Pahalgam Terror Attack: Man From Navi Mumbai's Panvel Among 26 Killed In Brazen Shooting

Navi Mumbai: One tourist from Panvel was killed and another injured in Tuesday’s terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, according to information provided by the Senior Police Inspector Nitin Thakare of Panvel City police station. The deceased has been identified as Dilip Desale (64), a resident of Khanda Colony, Panvel. The brazen attack claimed the lives of 26 individuals, including tourists and an intelligence officer.
Another Tourist From Panvel Injured
Another tourist, Subodh Patil, also from Panvel, sustained injuries in the attack. He has been airlifted to a hospital in Srinagar, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His wife, Manik Patil, is accompanying him.
The couple was part of a 39-member tourist group that had traveled to Jammu & Kashmir through Nisarg Travels, Panvel. All other members of the group are reported to be safe, Thakare said.
Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation closely and provide necessary support to the affected families.
