Operation Sindoor: ‘Tiranga Yatra’ To Parade Through Roha On May 21 Honoring Indian Army’s Pulwama Attack Response

A citizens’ rally—the “Tiranga Yatra”—will wind its way through Roha city and surrounding villages today at 4:00 PM to pay tribute to the Indian Army’s recent counter-terror operation and boost community morale.

The march was organized in response to the April 22 Pulwama attack in Jammu & Kashmir, which galvanized public sentiment and prompted the armed forces’ “Operation Sindoor” against militant bases across the Line of Control.

“Our soldiers continually risk their lives to protect the nation,” said a spokesperson for the Sahyadri Wildlife Conservation Social Organization (SVRSS), one of several local groups supporting the event.

The procession will begin at Navi Sardar Garden (opposite the Shivaji Maharaj statue) and proceed via Navrang Hotel, Teen Batti Naka, Bazaar Peth, Maruti Chowk, Andharsaal, and Dhangar Ali, concluding at the Roha Municipal Council. Organizers have invited all patriotic citizens to join in large numbers.
