Mumbai: The monsoon session of the Maharashtra legislature is currently underway in the state assembly (Vidhan Bhavan). During this session, the opposition has cornered the government on various issues. Today, opposition leaders staged a protest and raised slogans on the steps of the Vidhan Bhavan.
While the slogans were being chanted, Minister and Shiv Sena leader Bharat Gogawale arrived. On seeing Gogawale, the opposition leaders began chanting the mantra "Om Phat Swaha"—a phrase from Hindu tradition often used in rituals to invoke deities and make offerings—as a way to mock and tease him playfully. At that moment, Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aditya Thackeray also allegedly imitated Gogawale.
UBT Leader Accused Gogawale Of Performing Aghori Puja
Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Vasant More had made serious allegations against Bharat Gogawale. More had claimed that he had performed Aghori puja at his house before the assembly elections.
