NMMC Urges Residents To Participate In Swachh Survekshan 2024 'Citizen Feedback' Survey; Here Is How You Can Submit Your Response

Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) is encouraging citizens to actively engage in Swachh Survekshan 2024 to help secure the top ranking in India’s cleanliness survey. Currently ranked second, Navi Mumbai is part of the ‘Super Swachh League,’ showcasing its strong cleanliness record. Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde stressed the importance of citizen involvement, particularly in proper waste segregation at the source into wet, dry, and hazardous waste.

In a recent X post, the official account of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC), posted encouraging Navi Mumbaikars to p articipate in 'Citizen Feedback' at the official portal and submit their response.

The X post caption reads: "स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण 2024 ची प्रक्रिया सुरू झाली असून यामधील एक महत्वाचा भाग असलेल्या ‘नागरिकांचा प्रतिसाद’ अर्थात ‘सिटीझन फिडबॅक’ नोंदविण्यास स्वच्छ भारत मिशनमार्फत सुरूवात झाली आहे. याकरिता https://sbmurban.org/feedback या लिंकवर क्लिक करून वेबसाईटवर नागरिकांनी शहर स्वच्छतेविषयीचा आपला अभिप्राय नोंदवायचा आहे. यामध्ये प्रत्येक नागरिकाने आपल्या मोबाईलवरून नवी मुंबई शहराच्या देशातील सर्वोत्तम मानांकनासाठी सर्वेक्षणात विचारल्या जाणा-या 10 प्रश्नांची सर्वोत्तम उत्तरे देऊन आपल्या नवी मुंबई शहराचे मानांकन उंचवावे असे आवाहन करण्यात येत आहे. त्याचप्रमाणे स्वच्छ सर्वेक्षण 2024 मध्ये प्रत्यक्ष सहभागी होत नागरिकांचा प्रतिसाद (Citizen Feedback) स्वत: तर नोंदवावाच व आपल्या संपर्कातील इतरांनाही अभिप्राय नोंदविण्यासाठी प्रोत्साहित करावे."

Citizens can help improve the city's ranking by providing feedback on cleanliness via the Swachh Bharat Mission at https://sbmurban.org/feedback, answering 10 survey questions. This feedback process is promoted through QR codes. Swachh Survekshan, an annual survey by MoHUA, aims to improve hygiene in India. Step-To-Step Guide On Submitting 'Citizen Feedback' For Swachh Survekshan 2024

1. Visit https://sbmurban.org/feedback and To register, submit your phone number. You will receive an One Time Password (OTP), keep it with you and do not share it with anyone.

2. Choose the language you wish to go ahead with and read instructions as you enter your personal details further.

3. Select the state, zilha and city you reside in.

4. After submitting the above information, you will be asked if you have been the citizen of the above mentioned place or not. Further enter your gender and age.

5. You will enter the 'Citizen Feedback' page where you have to answer 10 questions. Read through the instructions and questions carefully as you choose your answers as feedback.

6. Enter the One Time Password (OTP) you received earlier as you proceed to submit your responses.

7. After submitting, you will land a page that assures that your response has been recorded. You can exit the webpage after.
