NMMC Hosts Partition Horrors Remembrance Day Exhibition In Vashi

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Thursday organised an exhibition on the Partition of India at Vishnudas Bhave Natyagruha in Vashi, as part of the nationwide observance of Partition Horrors Remembrance Day directed by the Government of India.
The exhibition, featuring photographs and information panels, sought to recall the pain, trauma, and displacement endured by millions during the Partition, while reinforcing the values of peace, unity, and harmony. Citizens and schoolchildren from Vashi and neighbouring areas visited the venue to gain insights into the historical event.

Alongside, both municipal and private schools in the city conducted awareness activities. A photo documentary prepared by the Central Government was screened on digital boards in schools, and groups of students were taken to the exhibition for an educational tour.
