The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has extended the last date for online applications to various posts advertised on March 27, 2025, under advertisement number Aastha/01/2025. Candidates can now submit their applications online until May 19, 2025, at 11.55 PM.
This extension comes as part of a corrigendum issued by the corporation in response to updated eligibility norms. As per the Government of Maharashtra’s General Administration Department’s resolution dated May 20, 2011, candidates who have completed their graduation from UGC-recognized open universities, such as Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University, without passing the traditional 10th or 12th board examinations, are now eligible to apply for the Clerk-Typist and Accounts Clerk posts.
The revised eligibility criteria apply specifically to clerical positions, but the extension of the application deadline covers all categories of posts listed in the original recruitment notification.
NMMC has appealed to all interested and eligible candidates to take note of the changes and ensure timely submission of their applications through the official website.
